Wrist Arthroscopy

Wrist arthroscopy has drastically altered the treatment of ligament tears and cartilage disruption, which many have been diagnosed as a “sprain” in the past and simply left untreated, greatly increasing the risk of painful arthritic reconstruction and joint destruction, necessitating major reconstruction or fusion with loss of motion. Depending on the condition, motion often resumes after one or two weeks following wrist arthroscopy.
